We aim to be very transparent about the service fee, mentioning it at the point of sale if purchased at our Concierge Desks, or printing it on the card packaging at third-party retailers, so that customers are aware of this when they are selecting and paying for our products.
This service fee goes towards:

The management of the Gift Card program – this supports the scope of our gift cards in being able to be used at the wide range of stores, providing greater flexibility to enjoy the cards. Cards with similar functionalities incur much heftier service fees.

In the instance of a Physical Gift Card, the card can be used anywhere eftpos is accepted across Australia.

In the instance of a Digital Gift Card, the card is redeemable at retailers with contactless payment facilities or online merchants which support Apple Pay or Google Pay.

It is important to remember that acceptance of our cards is ultimately at retailer discretion, and some retailers may choose not to accept the Westfield Gift Card products.

Gift Card security – we will replace lost or stolen Gift Cards if you contact us with the purchase receipt. Other store gift cards must be treated like cash and no assistance can be provided if lost.

The production, packaging and distribution of the Physical Gift Cards. Most store cards are not issued with packaging or it may be purchased at an additional cost.
